The Great Blizzard of 1993
Most of us try to escape the cold weather by heading south, but for those who were living in the south in March of ‘93, many will remember weather, they would never have imagined. This was the case in the state of Georgia. For an area that we expect to the temperatures rising, there are reports of snowfall ranging from 5 to 50 inches of the fluffy white stuff.
I would imagine that the kids would have loved it, but the adults of the region… not quite so much! And the satelite image shows just how far that the storm reached.
