The Embers “Original” Bourbon House

by SP on April 18th, 2006

hotel“The Embers “Original” Bourbon House is located at 700 Bourbon Street at St. Peter in the heart of the French Quarter, within walking distance of most downtown hotels. Built in the late 1800’s, the location eventually became the Bourbon House and home to many locals, Movie Stars and famous people.

You can still enjoy the charm and ambiance of Old New Orleans, while dining on freshsteak Louisiana seafood, great steaks, and authentic Cajun and Creole cuisine all served on the largest balcony on Bourbon Street. With a spectacular view from the largest balcony in the French Quarter and overlooking the festivities of Bourbon Street, experience a taste of the excitement and thrill of Mardi Gras!”

I don’t care all that much about the celebrities and famous people that you might spot, but I do have my eye on that steak! And you have to admit, the view from that balcony has to be pretty close to amazing!!
