That’s an Ice Cream - Englewood, Florida

by SP on January 3rd, 2007

” ENGLEWOOD — If you’re hot and feel like having something cold to eat, you might consider digging into a “Cool Blue Ocean” or taking in an “Englewood Beach Sunset.”

But you can’t do either one of them at the beach.

You have to drive to That’s An Ice, which is in Englewood Plaza near the Beall’s Outlet on State Road 776.

Cool Blue Ocean and Englewood Beach Sunset are two of 24 flavors Jeff and Sue Paret have named their homemade, super premium-grade ice cream”

Personally, I want to try the Beach Sunset flavor. It is a mixture of orange, tangerine and banana ice cream with strawberries, bananas and pineapple in it, rum flavored and swirled with strawberry. Doesn’t get much better than that!
