The summer is almost over, but not quite…
I’m just not quite ready to let it go and tomorrow I head out for a week in Chicago and I’m going to make the most of it. Okay, you know that I love anything that has chocolate in it… even if I can’t eat it. And this moisturizer is no exception. It has the texture that you can’t help but love, AND it has a hint of berries, which I’m hoping is raspberries. The company even packages it all into a heavy glass jar which will look gorgeous sitting in the bathroom. And in the deep south, your skin needs all the moisture that it can get. At least that’s my excuse!!

Every Saturday is shopping day at Southern Byways… pretty much because that’s what I do most when I go on vacation. While other people love to haunt historical sites, (which I do enjoy) if I had my choice, I would rather be shopping. Especially if there are stores that I don’t have at home!! The Imagineering Field Guide to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World
Well, today is going to be short and sweet. As I type this, all I want to do is to crawl back into bed.
Yesterday, we drove to Orlando (3 hours with the traffic, but felt a lot longer) spent a few hours at The Mall at Millenia and I did some serious damage to my credit card. Some really good news for parents in Florida. In August, there will a ten day break from taxes . It’s not a done deal quite yet, but if the governor signs off on it, parents will be charged no sales tax on on books, clothes, shoes, wallets, and bags costing $50 or less, and certain other school supplies costing $10 or less. The tax break is from Aug. 4 through Aug. 13 at most Florida stores under the bill.
Now lets just hope that the rest of the southern states follows suit!!

Oh, I’m soooo glad to be able to share this mall with you… and especially at this time of year. We will be spending some time in Orlando during the holidays and this mall is going to be top on my list… even above Disney World and nothing gets much better than Disney World during Christmas.

Well, I could imagine myself spending many an hour here…
Conveniently located just minutes from Orlando International Airport, International Drive, Walt Disney World, SeaWorld and Universal Studios. Florida Mall is on the corner of South Orange Blossom Trail (17/92/441) and Sand Lake Road in Orlando, Florida.
And just in case you don’t think that there is a store here that would interest you… here’s 260 to choose from. This could be a very dangerous place for me to visit!
