Packing for any holiday is just about the worst chore imaginable. I always bring too much and then it’s not the right things. I’ve almost gotten to the point of just packing nothing and then buying what I need. It would certainly make life a whole lot easier!! I leave on Saturday and I have been given strict rules about how much to pack. I am notorious about packing everything I MIGHT need and this usually means a lot of luggage. That might not be so bad when we are driving, but that’s not the case this time. We are flying which makes it even harder to know what to leave behind. At least once while in the south, you will likely head for the beach, so be prepared to protect yourself from the sun. You can take this with you and it should fit quite nicely into the trunk providing you with protection from the sun as you play away the day. This has to be one of the “must haves” when it comes to traveling. And it’s not just for women either. I have one of those magnifying mirrors that pulls away from the wall so that you can position it just to your liking and it was supposed to be for me! Well, from the look of all the whiskers in my sink, my husband is obviously shaving on my side of the bathroom, using my magnifying mirror!!

On our last holiday, I noticed a lot of people using something like in this instead of regular luggage. Certainly would make things easier. Who likes waiting for their bags to fall onto the belt and most of the time they are bashed up as well. It would be nice to simply store it in one of those overhead bins and be done with it. I know that this might seem like an odd thing to find in a travel blog, but believe it or not, a solid shampoo is a lot easier to take along with you than the liquid variety.
