America in Bloom is  a national non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting nationwide beautification programs through the use of plants, flowers and trees. They have recently named America’s most beautiful cities and both Stuart, Florida, and Fayetteville, Arkansas, made the list. Cities were rated in 8 different categories:

• Floral Displays
• Environmental Awareness
• Landscaped Areas
• Tidiness
• Urban Forestry
• Heritage Preservation
• Turf and Groundcovers
• Community Involvement

Other cities to make the list of America’s Most Beautiful Cities (divided by population), include the following:

• 5,000 or less – Greendale, Indiana
• 5,001 – 10,000 – North Manchester, Indiana
• 10,001 – 15,000  – Greendale, Wisconsin
• 15,001 – 25,000 – Stuart, FL
• 25,000 – 50,000 – West Lafayette, Indiana
• 50,001 – 100,000 – Fayetteville, Arkansas
• 100,001 or more – Toledo, Ohio
