The Brown Mountain Lights…

If you are headed to North Carolina for your holidays, you might want to keep your eyes open for Brown Mountain. It’s not all that spectacular, but something strange is going on there and no one knows why! Even the government has gotten involved and they can’t figure it out either!

Apparently lights have been appearing for years and years and you don’t even have to wait for a particular date. If you are looking, chances are, they will not disappoint. They happen on just about any night of the year.

1. Cherokee Falls Bridge in Blacksburg… a man was hung there thanks to his wife. Apparently you can hear his cries while others have seen him with burn marks on his throat.2. Brattonsville Battlefield… you can feel and hear people here. I wonder what it feels like to “feel” a ghost hovering close by??
3. Boone Hall Plantation… I definitely need to go back because I wasn’t looking for anything spooky to happen here… but a ghost attempting to dig out a bullet has been spotted.

“The original “Chucky,” Robert the Doll, has been said to resemble everything from Michael Jackson to Curious George. The East Martello Museum on South Roosevelt Boulevard (next to the airport) is Robert’s permanent home where he sits on display for those who dare to visit.”
Robert’s original home at The Artist House Bed & Breakfast where he lived with his owner Gene Otto and we visit Robert’s annual temporary home at the historic Customs House Museum.
