I leave on Saturday and I have been given strict rules about how much to pack. I am notorious about packing everything I MIGHT need and this usually means a lot of luggage. That might not be so bad when we are driving, but that’s not the case this time. We are flying which makes it even harder to know what to leave behind. I practically live in flip flops all summer long and fell in love with this pair the minute I saw them. They should pretty much go with EVERYTHING I plan to take for the week.

Fashionable Traveling… Living in Pareos

I picked up one of these while on vacation a few years ago and positively lived in it. You can pull on your bathing suit in the morning, wrap one of these around yourself, pull on a pair of flip flops and you are done! I only wish that I could do that all summer long… in the north. Just doesn’t happen unfortunately, but while on vacation… take advantage!!
In the south… it’s all about being comfortable!! And stylish too

This is always one of my biggest worries. How do the natives dress? Okay, to some of you this might sound bizarre, but the last thing you want to look is either under-dressed or over-dressed while on vacation. This is pretty close to perfect and I will tell you below the photo.

You Can Never Have Too Many!

Call me a baby, but my feet are sensitive. I can’t even remember the last time I went barefoot. So, when it comes time to pack for my trips south, I toss in a lot of flip flops. They don’t take a lot of space and they can be worn around the pool… hey the cement is rough!
I also like them for wandering along the beach when I am searching for sea shells. If they get wet, I really don’t care.
A trip south is all about having fun!
