Who loves a good cocktail? How about an evening where local bartenders compete to come up with the best cocktail, and you get to be the judge? If you are in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday, August 27th you are in luck as Dine Magazine will be hosting a cocktail competition sponsored by Partida. Local bartenders from Himmarshee Bar & Grill, Riley McDermott’s, 3030 Ocean, Blue Martini and Trina will compete to create the best cocktail of the night.

• Where: 3030 Ocean, 3030 Holiday Drive at the Marriott Harbor Beach in Fort Lauderdale

Everyone who attends will receive a complimentary martini glass from Swank Martini (retail value: $20).

From now until Saturday, October 18th, Volunteer Broward, a member of the Million Meals Committee, will undertake an extraordinary and historic mission to collect 1,000,000 pounds of food. Part of this effort will include raising funds that turn each dollar raised into six. One in six residents in Broward County will go hungry tonight, and it will get worse as the holidays approach, and the cost of living continues to increase.

A raffle will also be held that night for your chance to win dining gift certificates, gift baskets and other fabulous prizes.
