The Birmingham Zoo draws more than 450,000 visitors annually. Approximately 750 animals of 250 species call the 122-acre Birmingham Zoo home, including sea lions, cheetahs and endangered species from six continents.

“Sandrock, Alabama, has something to offer for anyone from beginner to expert. Sandrock is best known for the large number of excellent boulder problems found within its maze. The area is comprised of huge islands of gray featured sandstone with a maze of canyons, passages, and caverns between them, and some beautifully uncharacteristic rock formations. Stealing from Wal-Mart in Attalla, Alabama

Stealing from Wal-Mart in Attalla, Alabama

This is what Attalla City Judge Kenneth Robertson Jr. in Alabama decided was fitting…  either wear the sandwich board on two Saturdays or face the consequences… which just happened to be jail time.  Most of the customers leaving Wal-Mart thought that the punishment was a good one and that it would definitely make them think twice about shoplifting. Others thought that it was cruel.
