So what do you do if you sick while on vacation??
At the moment, I am working my way through the worst cold imaginable. I started feeling just a wee bit lousy last Friday, and each day has been getting worse and worse. Last night I found myself creeping down to the kitchen for another cup of ——- because I couldn’t sleep and I couldn’t breath. Real nice combination going on.
But the point of this post is to try to think of all the supplies you might need if you are on vacation and then find yourself feeling absolutely horrible. And you must know that you are going to feel ten times worse if you are away from home. Packing a few packets of a cold product like the one above just might be enough until you get to the drugstore.
And I’m not going to name names, but the stuff I took last night was really nasty. I only picked it up because it was supposed to be for sore throats and coughs… which I have big time at the moment. I kind of wondered about the cherry flavor and as it turns out… for good reason. It has to be the grossest stuff I have ever taken! But it did let me get a few hours more sleep last night, so I guess that’s something,but I’m going to try the Alka-Seltzer cold medicine next.
Here’s hoping that this cold from hell is almost run its course. And here’s hoping that I never get this sick while on vacation!! And if this post sounds as if it was written by a complete idiot, my head feels as if it’s going to explode any minute.
*That’s my excuse for today at least.
