Saving Money: "Hot" Deals for "Cool" Summer Vacations

Well, July 4th has come and gone, and summer continues on. Don’t wait until the season is nearly gone to take your vacation. There are deals to be found all over the South, you just need to know where to look.

• It’s not too late to receive a $50 gas card from Choice Hotels; however, you do need to act quickly. It’s real simple, just sign up for Choice Privileges (if you aren’t all ready a member), book a stay three times through August 14 and them redeem the points earned for a gas card.

• If you’re considering heading to South Florida for your vacation, be sure to take a look at all of the hotel deals in Hollywood, Fla. You never know what cost-saving gems you might find.

• Book three nights at the historic Emily Morgan in downtown San Antonio and receive a $25 Valero gas card. This offer is good through September 30.

• Visit Austin, Texas’ CVB site for the latest on hotels/resorts summertime deals.
