Old St. Augustine, St. Augustine, Florida
For those of you who really don’t like to spend the day covering a zillion acres, and yes sometimes amusement parks can feel that way, I found something that you might like instead. What you are about to see is a collection of nine historic houses spanning the period from 1790 to 1910 and they are all within one city block. Within this small area, you will see nine houses, five galleries, courtyards and some gorgeous gardens! I can’t think of a better way to soak up a little atmosphere. That’s four centuries of history packed into one easy to manage walking tour.
