Key Lime Pie

Apparently you don’t have to wait until you hit Florida to try Key Lime Pie although I will be making a point of ordering it the minute I get down there. But in the meantime, I found a recipe that you can try out right now. I’m going to have to invest in a can of sweetened condensed milk and a few limes. I think that I have everything else. And although an authentic Key Lime Pie will use key limes, we can get away with Persian limes which are the most common in our supermarkets. But the author of the recipe did make a point of telling us to use fresh limes instead of the juice.

That makes sense!
