Can you believe that the start of the summer travel season is only days away? Perhaps you don’t have anything planned yet, or maybe you’re waiting to see what happens with gas prices. If you aren’t motivated to make any reservations, here is something to get you started - hotel deals. From gas credits to an extra night free, you can find ways to travel in the South and keep your wallet happy.
- USA Today ran an article about gas deals offered by hotels and resorts throughout the nation. Be sure to check out the deals in the Southeast.
- The Sandhurst, on Hutchinson Island, Fla., is offering a “stay two consecutive nights and receive the third consecutive night free.” This deal is good through June 19.
- The Holiday Inn at Port St. Lucie is promoting a $25/night gas credit on stay through June 30. Be sure to mention promo code P42.
- The Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., has a South Florida 50/50 Vacation Package. This package includes 50 percent off the third night stay and a $50 resort credit that can be used at the property’s restaurants, shops or spa. This package is good for Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend.
- It’s the “Fuel for Summer Fun” package offered by the properties of Noble House Hotels and Resorts. The participating southern properties include LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort in Naples, Fla., Ocean Key Resort & Spa in Key West, Fla., The Grove Isle Hotel & Spa in Miami, Fla., WaterColor Inn in Santa Rosa, Fla., and The Adolphus in Dallas, Texas. The package provides gas credits (varies depending on the property) with a minimum of a two-night stay.
