Jekyll Island in June

Tons to do all year round, but wait until you see what June has to offer. I’m almost ready to pack my bags!! Here are just a few of my favorites…

1. Follow the investigation of the national scandal created by the last known slave ship to reach Georgia.

2. The Georgia Sea Turtle Center will open to the public on World Sea Turtle Day in the Jekyll Island Historic District.

3. Come join the crew at the Jekyll Island Museum for tales of high seas adventure and stay to hear sailors’ sea shanties.

4. Pass through the Old Landmark District at twilight and enter one of the cottages for spine-tingling tales.

5. Receive a lantern-lit escort through the ages, featuring appearances by period characters and musicians.
