Gotta Do This…Georgia Wine Country Festival
It’s a weekend filled with fine wine, gourmet food and live entertainment. The 7th Annual Georgia Wine Country Festival, presented by Three Sisters Vineyard in Dahlonega, is scheduled for June 7-8. In its seventh year, this event highlights wines from around the state as well dishes created by local chefs and other local foods, such a cheese selection from Thomasville’s Sweet Grass Dairy and fudge from Dahlonega’s Fudge Factory.
In addition, you can also enjoy live music, stroll the vineyards,
take a vineyard wagon ride or purchase some folk art pieces from Georgia artists. There’s also activities for children as well.
Both photos are of different views of Three Sisters Vineyard (Dahlonega, Ga.), courtesy of Georgia Department of Economic Development.
