Getting to know Paula Deen
Have you noticed that Paula is getting almost as popular as Martha Stewart?? I would never have thought that possible, but on a recent trip to Florida, I spotted her face on about a zillion magazine covers, but she isn’t just a familiar site in the south. She’s everywhere!!
I just finished reading an interview with Paula and here is one of the questions…
Q: What’s your definition of Southern cooking?
A: My definition of Southern cooking is stuff that tastes real, real good, and no seasonings or flavorings have been held back on it, and they threw this thing called love into the pot. A lot of us really do it ’cause we love it, not ’cause we have to.
Now doesn’t that make you want to check out one of her restaurants the next time you visit Georgia?? I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!!

Of course Paula loves her Southern dishes, but apparently, a very close second would be her love of Italian food. And the interview will explain why!!

the Lady and Sons Restaurant is very great, i visit every summer.
