Day 4 in Florida - What I Did Yesterday

by SP on June 21st, 2007

Another fun day in sunny Florida. But really, are there any other kind??

*Went for a nearly morning swim. Can’t believe just how warm the water can be!! You can simply walk right in. Must look at the temperature to see just how warm the water is!!

*People seem to be very health conscious down here in Port Charlotte. Every morning I see several people out jogging and in 85 degrees plus, that’s just too hot for me. I will do all of my exercising either walking around a mall or swimming.

*Late afternoon, headed to the Port Charlotte Beach Complex. We simply wanted to stroll along the beach, but there’s a tennis court, a fishing pier, a playground, horseshoe pits, a boardwalk and boat ramps. And to my surprise, the water of Charlotte Harbor was just as warm as our pool!

*Ate in last night. We have soooo much left over restaurant food, that we thought that we had better begin using some of it up… so we ate around the pool. Carried everything into the kitchen, left it and went swimming until way after dark. The pool water was 98 degrees. Now that is amazing.

*The kitchen can wait until morning! We pretty much fell into bed… exhausted!
