Car Seat and Stroller All in One
“This versatile seat converts quickly and easily from a secure car/plane seat (forward-or rear-facing) into a sturdy, maneuverable stroller or booster seat. The wheels and handle fold into the body, and the seat secures with a seat belt. (Before flying, contact your airline for specific seat dimensions.) Featuring the safest possible 5-point harness system, the seat complies with all safety standards, and adjusts for children from 5 to 40 lbs. With storage bin and removable, easy-to-clean cover. 18″ W x 19″ L x 33″- 37″ H. (15 1/2 lbs.)”
With the zillion and one things that you have to plan for a vacation, this could be one of the last things on your list. I have just made it a little easier for you especially if you plan on renting a car.

I’ve been seeing a lot of these on the planes lately, and they seem to be quite handy. They will not fit down the center of an aisle, though, when in use. Parents will need to carry the stroller/car seat to where they are sitting on the plane.

I guess it would be better just to check it then and then retrieve it when you arrive… right??

The child will be best restrained on the plane in his/her car seat buckled into the seat. So, parents will want the car seat onboard. It just is going to need to be carried down the aisle. And that means the child will need to walk or be carried down the aisle as well.
And, to be honest, I’d be worried about wheeling an infant down the aisle like that anyway. It’s very handy in some situations, but down an airplane aisle there are just too many things that you can bump into, or that can bump into you.

You can tell that it’s been a while since I even had anyone small enough to fit in a car seat can’t you. My babies are now bigger than I am!!
