Britt’s Tour of the South - Day 1 : Museum of Discovery

by SP on August 1st, 2006

Bug ZooWelcome to Little Rock Arkansas, probably best known as former US President Bill Clinton’s home town, but you may be suprised at how much there is to see and do. We will start our vacation off at the Museum of Discovery where we can can experence everything from creepy crawly bugs (up close, and I do mean up close) in The Bug Zoo to the 300 square foot exhibit featuring model trains. The Health Hall features interactive exhibits like what a dentist sees when they look into your mouth, how flexable you are, and how blood moves through your body.

Admission:
Adults: $7.00
Seniors (65+): $6.00
Children (ages 1 - 12): $6.00

Where to eat in Little Rock Arkansas:

If your fan of a margarita or too, or just want some great Mexican food, Juanita’s Cafe and Bar is the place to go.

Juanita’s has long been a gathering place for intimate conversation and good fun. Known in Little Rock for more than a decade as “the” place for live music and great food, Juanita’s has long won local and national awards for its excellence in providing great food, service, and entertainment. The Arkansas Democrat Gazette, and Arkansas Times are among some of the more frequent publications bestowing their favor.
