It’s easy to be green when you travel to Virginia. Just in time for Earth Day, Virginia’s state tourism office has officially launched a new Web site, Virginia Green Travel, targeting environmentally-friendly travel in the state.
The website includes information on the state’s certified green tourism businesses that include over 140 hotels as well as restaurants, attractions and more. There are also links to state parks, the birding and wildlife trail, eco-friendly events and a lot more.
