The event also includes live entertainment, demonstrations and a kids zone.
- And while we are talking about Alabama, a little over 80 miles south of Birmingham, the ladies of Trinity Episcopal Church in Wetumpka are putting together an interesting event on August 23. The Gathering at the River Cookbook Fair and Tasting will highlight cookbooks from around the state and region. Samples of different will be available to try as well.
- “Boom Time in a Boom Town” is the theme for the 6th Annual “Flavor of the Past” festival in Wilimington, N.C. Scheduled for August 23, the city’s history, from the 1800s to World War II, comes to life in a different way through interactive events, tours and history-inspired recipes.
