I love to walk. Some people plan trips around restaurant they want to try or certain sites they want to see, but I tend to plan my trips around how much walking I can get in each day.
So, today I discovered a great little site that I wanted to share with everyone. Walk Score was actually designed for people to locate walkable neighborhoods across the U.S, Canada and U.K.; however, I use it to type in my hotel’s address to find out where that particular location ranks on their scale- 0 (driving only) to 100 (walkers’ paradise). As you plan your next trip, be sure to check out how walkable the location of your hotel is. You just might be surprise as to what you’ll discover.
