  As you know by now, the space shuttle Discovery lifted off from Kennedy Space Center near Cape Canaveral, Fla., today (Saturday, May 31) at 5:02 p.m. Here are some photos taken from 5th floor balcony at the Horizons by Marriott Vacation Club in Orlando (near Seaworld).   History comes alive in an entertaining way during El Dorado’s (Ark.) Showdown at Sunset. This annual event, which begins on the first Saturday in June and ends the first Saturday in August, recreates the 1902 shoot out that resulted from on-going feuds between two prominent local families.
The reenactment, taking place at the Union County Courthouse Square located downtown, features 12 period-dressed actors who provide the audience with the history of the time and the background of the families involved before the shootout occurs.
