South Carolina’s Apple Festival
“Beginning the week following Labor Day and running through the next weekend, the South Carolina Apple Festival celebrates the beginning of apple harvest season in Oconee County, the largest apple-producing area in the state. The annual festival has drawn thousands of visitors to the Westminster area since its first appearance in 1961.”
Now is there anyone who can’t find anything interesting on that list of things to do! Good thing that the festival runs for a week! From what I can see, I can check out the apple pie baking contest and just maybe pick up a few pointers, and then go shopping at the arts & craft kiosks. It’s working for me.
So maybe the summer is over, but there is still something to look forward to in…
