Slavery Apology Founders in Georgia as Other States Sign On

“Slavery apologies being adopted in Southern states are more than a little insulting to state Senator Robert Brown, the highest-ranking black in the Legislature.

Brown says it is demeaning to think an apology would be an appropriate response to what he calls “the most heinous crime” in history.”
